Wow, Genevieve and McKenzie’s Detroit wedding was so special. Everything about this wedding day was so personalized to the couple, so unique, and full of so much fun! They had their wedding ceremony at Willis Show Bar and their reception followed at Temple Bar in Detroit.

They even had cookies from Detroit Cookie Co., a burlesque dancer, tacos, and a disco themed after party! It was definitely a wedding that I’ll never forget, and I can’t wait to share it with you!

McKenzie & Genevieve Getting Ready For Their Detroit Wedding

McKenzie and Genevieve spent their morning getting ready separately with their bridal parties at a private property. I loved their fun wedding invitations and details! They both had very beautiful and unique wedding rings. So, not only was their entire wedding day very personalized to them, but even down to the smallest details!

McKenzie wore a beautiful white dress with a stunning crown headpiece while Genevieve wore a black tux. Their entire looks were unique yet timeless at the same time!

McKenzie and Genevieve shared the sweetest first looks outside of this private residence here in Detroit. It was so beautiful seeing Genevieve turn around and both of them in awe of each other in their wedding attire.

McKenzie and Genevieve’s wedding party was small but full of great people that brought the best energy for these two on their special day! Before heading over to Willis Show Bar for their ceremony, we got a few wedding party photos outside of the property where they got ready. It made for the perfect backdrop!

This Detroit wedding ceremony at Willis Show Bar was one that I will never forget! It was unique in so many ways. They had such fun wedding décor and personal touches, cookies from Detroit Cookie Co., along with a personal heart shaped cookie cake for themselves to share as well!

I loved the setting for the ceremony where everyone sat at the bar tables and enjoyed their favorite drinks and yummy cookies. McKenzie and Genevieve’s speeches to each other were incredibly heartfelt and made many tear up because they were just that sweet!

After the ceremony we went right into the reception and let me tell you. This was such a fun Detroit wedding reception! They had a burlesque dancer come in and it was such a hit! They also had a taco truck that served the most delicious tacos. McKenzie and Genevieve had their good friend DJ for them and everyone was on the dance floor having the best time celebrating these two beautiful souls!

Ending The Night With a Disco Themed After Party at Temple Bar in Detroit

What better way to end the perfect Detroit wedding celebration than with a disco themed after party at Temple Bar?! They changed into different attire and they both rocked their looks!
