Montana and Travis’ Glass House Creative Community wedding was intimate, colorful, and effortlessly documentary in style. A few months before their big day, I got to capture their ‘Cinematic Lake Michigan Engagement Photos in Muskegon‘, and from that moment, I knew their wedding was going to be something special. And wow, did they pick a stunning venue.
Glass House Creative is a hidden gem—a historic farm tucked away in rural West Michigan, offering the dreamiest setting for an intimate wedding with up to 50 guests. The peaceful surroundings, charming greenhouse, and thoughtfully preserved spaces make it feel like a quiet little escape. It’s perfect for couples who want something romantic, intentional, and one of a kind!

The Details, Getting Ready, & First Looks
Montana and Travis kept their wedding day so them—laid-back, intimate, and full of love. Their first look at Glass House Creative Community was pure magic. Just the two of them (and their pup, obviously the star of the show).
I loved the moment when Montana tapped Travis on the shoulder. The second he turned around—instant smiles, teary eyes, and the kind of hugs that feel like home. Their dog, rocking a floral collar, soaked up every second. No stress or distractions, just an intimate moment exactly how it should be.

Outdoor Portraits & Wedding Party Photos at Glass House Creative Community
Montana and Travis took a quiet moment to soak in their reception space before heading back outside for portraits. The Glass House Creative Community greenhouse was effortlessly romantic and magical—natural wood tones, soft florals, and golden-hour light pouring through the glass. After their time soaking up the space, we wandered the dreamy property for portraits along with a guest—the curious little farm cat taking a part of their portraits as if they were in the wedding party!
Speaking of the wedding party, this crew understood the assignment. The bridesmaids were stunning in mismatched floral dresses, perfect for a greenhouse wedding, and perfectly complemented the groomsmen in neutral, earth-toned suits. Travis wore a deep green suit that was made for the setting. Laughter, candid moments, and a whole lot of love surrounded Montana and Travis on their wedding day!

Intimate Outdoor Glass House Creative Community Wedding Ceremony
These two kept their ceremony so personal, with their close friend officiating—a role they took to heart. I loved watching them carefully prepare everything, making sure every word felt just right, you could feel the love in every little detail!
The ceremony was set against the glass greenhouse and lush greenery of the venue. The ceremony space was simple yet stunning, with warm toned florals framing everything perfectly. It was intimate, emotional, and overflowing with love!

Cocktail Hour & A Glass House Creative Community Wedding Reception
Montana and Travis kicked off their cocktail hour with the most perfect pre-made signature cocktails, letting guests sip and mingle. The reception space inside the Glass House Creative Community greenhouse was straight out of a dream with lush greenery draping from the ceiling, candlelit tables adorned with organic florals by Hyssop Floral, and the glow of golden hour pouring in through the glass. With food prepared on-site, every detail felt warm, intimate, and perfect for a fall Michigan wedding.
After dinner, Montana and Travis slipped away for a few quiet minutes, taking in the last bits of golden hour light. Once we returned, the sky had deepened into night and the greenhouse felt even more magical with it being all lit up and string lights twinkling above. The night ended in the barn, where they danced with friends and family. It was the perfect ending to a day that was all about them, their love, and celebrating exactly how they wanted!

Sweet Words From Montana:
“I’m so glad you included the picture of the lone lawn chair because my first thought when I saw this in the gallery was “this is art!”. We are so in love with the photos and it’s been so fun to relive the day again.”
