While this session was technically just a couples session, it made me think of how cute at-home Grand Rapids engagement photos would be! Katy and Mattingly are such a fun couple with all of the vibes, and their home felt so cozy—just the perfect location for an at-home couples photoshoot. I just loved Katy and Mattingly’s house and all of their decor. We captured photos in multiple locations around their home, and the couch was a favorite spot with their cute pictures and wall decor. We also brought out the box fan because it was definitely a hot summer day!

I love at-home sessions so much because it allows me to capture you and your partner in your space. Home can be so cozy and comfortable. You and your partner can simply enjoy each other’s company or do what you usually do. For Katy and Mattingly, that included reading, playing games, and just hanging out together on their couch!
