I had so much fun with Callista and Connor for their Bay City engagement photos. This session was laid-back and easy-going, and I love when clients just go with the flow like they did. They planned to come to Bay City, and we had specific spots to visit. On their way, I noticed this big, beautiful rose bush outside my neighbor’s house. I sent them a few photos and asked them to meet me at my place. They came and we took photos there! They even got to meet my cat. I really love moments like that—when a client starts to feel like a friend more than anything.

Ok, I must say that my neighbors house and beautiful rose bush really pulled it off. As soon as I saw it, I knew it would be the perfect backdrop for their Bay City engagement photos, and I’m so glad that they were up for a change of plans! Callista and Connor are so easy to photograph. They have such a sweet love, and you can feel it through the photos and how they look at each other

Fun Downtown Bay City Engagement Photos

After taking photos with the rose bush, we headed downtown and explored Bay City a bit. Let this session be your sign that your engagement session doesn’t have to be complicated or over-planned—these two just let their photographer pick favorite spots, and we simply went and chilled! I had the best time with them, and we shared so many laughs.

Ending The Session in a Wildflower Field

The best way to end their session was in a beautiful field of wildflowers that we spotted just off the highway. Sometimes the most beautiful locations are those you wouldn’t think of first—like in front of your neighbors rose bush, downtown in your home town, or in a wildflower patch off the highway! It was so fun getting to know these two better and capture their sweet love, and it was an honor that they trusted my visions for their session.
