Montana and Travis’s Lake Michigan engagement photos were cinematic, full of fun, and a session that I certainly won’t ever forget! These two drove from Ohio to have their photos taken by me, and that’s a wild feeling to take in. Montana and Travis had fun the whole time. The way they looked at each other and laughed was too cute, and they were okay with getting silly, which definitely paid off! Why Lake Michigan is a Dream Michigan Engagement Photo Location
Lake Michigan is truly such a dream engagement spot along the coast of west Michigan! There are SO MANY beaches where you can take photos. For Montana and Travis, we went to Duck Lake State Park in Muskegon. This is one of the many beautiful Michigan beach engagement photo locations. From Muskegon, Grand Haven, Holland, and Saugatuck, there are so many beach locations to choose from.
I love Lake Michigan engagement sessions (and beach engagements in general), because not only does Lake Michigan offer a beautiful backdrop, but there is also so much opportunity for fun! It’s not just about the photos, but about making memories with your partner. Going to the beach makes that easy. Whether you want to run along the shoreline, roll around in the sand, or even jump right into the water (I’m not stopping you!).
An Outfit Change For Montana + Travis’s Duck Lake State Park eNGAGEMENT sESSION in Muskegon
About halfway through the session, Montana and Travis changed into another set of outfits. Montana wore a flowy white dress, which was perfect for Lake Michigan engagement photos on the beach. Travis wore a green shirt with tan pants. Both looks complemented one another, and neutrals are always the way to go when it comes to a Michigan beach engagement session!
